As Pakistan is the home of many different religions and practicing their religious activities quite peacefully. It is fact that Pakistan’s official national religion is Islam, and about 97% of the people in Pakistan follow Islam. But there are people of many Sikhs, Hindus and Christian are living in Pakistan as well. In addition, there are many Buddhist sites discovered by archeologists. Although, there are many as many holy places, monuments, and religious centers. So in this our specially designed tour we total focused the most star attractions of Mosques, Shrines, Sikh Gurdwaras, Hindu Mandirs, Churches and Buddhist sites. Also, we kept our eye on, that every religious place does not open for visitors and we mentioned those places which can easily be explored.

Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival at Islamabad International airport. You will be received by the team of Active Tours Pakistan and transfer you to centrally located hotel in Islamabad. Reminder; the day is free for you to relax after long flight to Pakistan or half day tour of Islamabad will include Modern Shah Faisal Mosque gifted to Pakistani Muslims by the king of Suadi Arbia, visiting syedpure old village to visit Hindu Temple. After lunch we will drive for half an hour to Rawalpindi Raja Bazaar to visit Sikh & Hindu temples. Our last visit of the day will be St. Paul’s Church Rawalpindi. We back to hotel for overnight stay.
  • Day 02: Following breakfast, we will drive to Taxila. For over 1000years, Taxila remained famous of as a centre of learning in respect of Gandhara Art of Sculpture, education and Buddhism in the days of Buddhist glory. There are over 50 archeological sites scattered in a radius of 30 km around Taxila. Some of the most important sites include Dharmarajika, Stupa and Monastery (300 B.C – 200 A.D), Bhir Mound (600-200 B.C) Sirkap (200 B.C – 600 A.D,Jundial Temple (250 B.C), and Julian Monastery (200-600 A.D).  After our visit we will continue our drive to Hasanabdal to visit Punja Sahib. This is one of the most holy places of Sikhism because of the presence of a rock believed to have the hand print of Guru Nanak imprinted on it. In the evening we will drive back to Islamabad for overnight stay.
  • Day 03: Following the breakfast, we will drive to Ketas Raj temple. Ketasraj temple Dedicated to Shiva, the temple has, according to Hindu legend, existed since the days of Mahābhārata and the Pandava brothers spent a substantial part of their exile at the site and later Krishna himself laid the foundation of this temple and established his hand made Shivling in it. After our visit, we will drive to Khewra Salt Mines (2nd largest mine in the world). Late afternoon we will continue our drive to Lahore for Overnight stay.
  • Day 04: Full day city tour will include Arjun Dave Sikh Temple, Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, during our walk in the old city we will visit Churches, Hindu Mandirs, Golden Mosque and Wazir Khan mosque. In the evening we will drive back to hotel for overnight stay.
  • Day 05: Following breakfast, we have another day city tour of Lahore will include Scared Heart Cathedral, Anglican Church, Data Darbar, Mall road and in the flag ceremony at wagha border. We will back to hotel for overnight stay.
  • Day 06: Drive to Multan en route visiting Harappa Ruins. Remaining we will local markets. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
  • Day 07: Full day city tour of Multan. Multan is also called city of Shrines and today is good chance to see some of the most amazing Sufi shrines includes, Shah Rukh-e-ne Alam, Multan Town Hall, Shams Tabraiz, Bahaudin Zakriya and Sha Gardez. Drive back to hotel for overnight stay.
  • Day 08: Following breakfast, we will drive to Uch Sharif to visit the most remarkable shrines includes Syed Jalaluddin Surkh-Posh Bukhari, Hazrat Syed Jalaluddin Husain Bukhari Makhdoom Jahanian Jahangasht and Tomb of Bibi Jawindi. After visit around late afternoon, we will continue our drive to Bahawalpur. Check-in and overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Day 09: Following breakfast, we will drive to the Cholistan Desert. We visit Derawar Fort, Shahi Mosque, Royal graveyards and at the end will camel ride on the famous Cholistan Desert. Late afternoon we will drive back to Bahawalpur for an overnight stay.
  • Day 10: Following breakfast, we will drive back to Lahore and remaining time we will local markets (Anarkali, Liberty or fortress) for shopping. In the evening see off dinner will be served at famous food street of Lahore. You will also get a chance to witness the lighting of Badshahi Mosque from the top level of restaurant. Drive back to the hotel for overnight stay.
  • Day 11: Morning we will transfer you to the hotel to embark home flight. End of Services.
